Abstract:
Betonska vozišča so zaradi dolge življenjske dobe in minimalnega vzdrževanja v mnogih državah že zamenjala asfaltne površine, predvsem na prometno bolj obremenjenih cestah. Tudi v Sloveniji premoremo nekaj betonskih vozišč in izkušenj z njihovo gradnjo, vendar pa krožnega križišča z betonskim voziščem zaenkrat še nimamo. Zaradi mnogih primerov dobre prakse v drugih državah, si bomo tekom projektne naloge pogledali glavne značilnosti betonskih vozišč in katerim problemom asfaltnih vozišč v krožnih križiščih se z njimi lahko izognemo.

Title:
Concrete pavement in roundabouts
Abstract:
Due to their long life span and minimal requirements for maintenance concrete pavements have already replaced asphalt pavements in many countries mainly on roads that are under heavy traffic load. Also in Slovenia we have some concrete pavements and experiences in their construction, however we still do not have a concrete pavement roundabout. Throughout the project paper, because of many good experiences in foreign countries, we will look at the main features of concrete pavement and which problems of asphalt pavement in roundabouts can be avoided with the usage of concrete pavement.
