Živali v poizkusu so bile ločene v dve skupini, glede na mlečnost in dolžino laktacije. Poskus je bil razdeljen v tri obdobja in v vsakem obdobju smo spremljali količino namolzenega mleka, količino pokladanega krmnega obroka, ostanka krmnega obroka, porabo vode in temperaturo okolja. Izračunali smo zauživanje krme in ga primerjali z normativnimi vrednosti. Prvo obdobje je potekalo brez dodatka melase. V drugem obdobju smo v optimiziran obrok dodali 1,2 % melase (500 g/kravo/dan) ter v tretjem obdobju dodali 2,4 % melase (1000 g/kravo/dan).

Title:Effect of molasses on feed intake and milk production in dairy cows
Abstract:We decided for the experiment, because most experiments have already been made by adding molasses-based meals, which lack energy. In the experiment, we wanted to determine the effect of adding different concentrations of molasses in feed intake and milk production in dairy cows. The animals in the experiment have been separated into two groups, depending on the milk yield and the length of the lactation. The first group in which there were 13 cows Holstei breed has had a feed ration calculated for 25 liters of milk per day. In the second group there were 22 cows of which were two Brown Swiss, while the remaining 20 were Holstein breed. These cows were given ration calculated for 35 liters of milk per day. The experiment has been divided into three periods, each period hasbeen accompanied by the quantity of cows milk, quantity of feed residues of the feedration, water consumption and ambient temperature. We have calculated the feed intake and compared it with normative values. In the first period we didn`t add any molasses. In the second period, we optimized the meal with adding 1.2 % of molasses (500 g/cow/day) and in the third period, with adding 2.4 % of molasses (1000 g/cow/day). In the experiment, we have found that the addition of molasses has increased feed intake and decreased screening, which in turn has contributed higher milk fat and protein. In this experiment, we have not discovered that the addition of molasses would improve milk production.
