Abstract:V diplomski nalogi bomo govorili o problemu stranskega produkta, ki nastaja v procesu proizvodnje ognjevzdržnega betona.

Title:Intent of refractory aggregate production in company Togo and its applicability on public railway infrastructure
Abstract:In this thesis we will describe the byproduct of fire-resistant concrete, which was formed by the manufacturing process. The thesis describes the afore mentioned process and gives an example of coating a railway tunnel with the fire-resistant concrete. The concrete was made from the byproduct. This is the only example of a refurbished railway tunnel on the Slovenian railway network that has been done this way. The industrial age produces a lot of byproduct/waste, which usually ends up on landfills or even worse - in nature. Our thesis suggests the usage of filter dust, which is less than 0,06mm in diameter, and is produced by the process of mixing fire-resistant material. With the help of Togo d.o.o. we conducted a research on how to use this excess material. The samples were sent to ZAG Ljubljana, where they were put through a chemical analysis. Based on the analysis we developed a method of converting the excess dust into fire-resistant aggregate which can then be used in the primary manufacturing process or other end products.
Keywords:Byproduct, investment, coating a railway tunnel with fire-resistant concrete, filter dust, fire-resistant aggregate, end product, control, intent, project management, activities in the project, goals, time constraints of the project.
