Abstract:V diplomskem delu bo prikazana vpeljava informacijsko-svetovalnega središča v Šolskem centru za pošto, ekonomijo in telekomunikacije Ljubljana (v nadaljevanju ŠC PET).

Title:INTRODUCTION OF INFORMATION AND COUNSELING CENTRE IN ŠC PET
Abstract:The thesis will see the introduction of Information Counselling Centre at the School Centre for Post, Economics and Telecommunications Ljubljana (hereinafter referred to as SC PET). SC PET currently has several services that provide information regarding the education of different groups of participants. The objective of the thesis is to answer the question whether it is necessary to deploy a one-stop center for all learners. In the theoretical part I described how information and advisory center, what kind of activities carried out and what are the necessary competencies advisers to work in the center. In the empirical part of the thesis I have conducted a survey among all groups of learners. With it I have tried to answer the question what information participants are missing or require, do they need additional educational assistance and how satisfied they are with the existing advisory services. Existing advisory services give participants information especially about the education, but do not provide information on further studies or possible employment. It also does not provide organized support for learning. The results showed that participants from all groups are missing information and advice regarding the continuation of studies and employment, which argues in favor of introducing Information Counselling Centre which would give all of the learners better support in their education. In the thesis I also touched on the potential additional costs attributable to additional education of advisors and tools needed for their work. On the other hand, the introduction of the center also brings a reduction in costs due to the merger of advisory services and elimination of duplicate work. Tools and Utilities could also be combined. Organization of work would be easier because the counseling services for adults and pupils is being performed with only one advisor while on higher school there are two advisers. By increasing the number of consultants in the combined center work time should be more tailored to the needs of the participants. Initially there will be four advisors working. A final decision on the introduction of Information Counselling Centre in the hands of the management of the school center.
