Abstract:	Neuspeh podjetja je v zadnjih letih pogosta tema v vsakodnevnih in v strokovnih razgovorih, kot tudi področje, ki mu ekonomska politika v Sloveniji namenja veliko pozornost. Ob tem pa je mogoče na splošno ugotoviti, da se vedno znova pojavljajo težave in vzroki neuspeha podjetij. Diplomski seminar je sestavljen iz dveh delov. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili in definirali pojem podjetje, kako deluje podjetje kot organizacija in opredelili najpogostejše razloge poslovnega neuspeha. V praktičnem delu naloge pa smo se osredotočili na podjetje, ki se je ustrezno soočilo z težavami v podjetju in se rešilo ter prišlo ponovno na uspešno poslovno pot. Naredili smo tudi intervju z podjetnikom, ki se je na svoji poti uspešno srečeval z nastalimi problemi in jih pravočasno reševal, tako da je njegovo podjetje uspešno poslovalo ves čas. V okviru diplomskega seminarja smo ugotovili, da je stečaj najpogostejša oblika prenehanja podjetja in da je razlogov, ki privedejo do tega, zelo veliko; zato smo se mi osredotočili na deset najpogostejših.

Title:	The Failure of Companies in Slovenia
Abstract:	In the past years, a company’s failure is one of the most everyday’s as well as professional topics of discussion of average Slovenian citizen. It is also the important issue of the economic politics in Slovenia. Nevertheless, we have also noticed continuously the same problems and causes of the failure of companies occur. The Bachelor’s thesis is compiled from two parts. In the theoretical part, we presented and defined the enterprise, how it works and act like organization and we determined the most frequent reasons for business failure. In the application part, we focused on an enterprise, which successfully managed to cope with internal problems and came back on a successful business path. Furthermore, an interview with an entrepreneur was conducted that managed to deal successfully and on time with problems on his carrier path in a way that his company successfully operated all the time. In the conclusion of Bachelor’s theses, we indentified that bankruptcy is the most common form of a company’s failure and that there a plenty of reasons that lead to that, which is way we focused on the ten prevalent ones.
