Abstract:	Namen diplomskega dela z naslovom Nekateri dejavniki sprememb v družinah s predšolskim otrokom je bilo spoznati in opredeliti spremembe na področju družine, ki so se zgodile v zadnjih desetletjih. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili in opredelili pojem družine, potem tudi sam prehod iz moderne v postmodernizem, predstavili spremembe, ki so se zgodile na področju oblik in kompozicije družine ter tudi maritalne, rodnostne, societalne in demografske spremembe. Opredelili pa smo tudi vlogo očeta, matere in otroka v postmoderni družbi. Empirični del pa zajema ugotovitve, ki smo jih pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki ga je izpolnilo 80 staršev predšolskih otrok iz Gornjih Petrovec, Murske Sobote in Maribora. Zanimalo nas je, ali so nastale spremembe v družinskem življenju posledica pluralizacije družinskih oblik, ali so spremenjene družinske oblike povzročile spremenjene vloge očeta, matere in otroka, ali spremenjena potrošniška družba vpliva na družino oz. otroke. Ugotoviti pa smo želeli še, ali smo Slovenci nagnjeni k tradicionalnemu načinu družinskega življenja. Vse pridobljene podatke smo obdelali s pomočjo statističnega programa SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Scinces) in jih nato tudi tabelarično prikazali. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da so se spremembe na področju družine v zadnjih desetletjih dogajale; spremenile so se vloga očeta, matere in otrok, potem tudi spremembe oblik družin, spremembe na področju rodnosti, zakonske zveze in demografske spremembe, vse večji je tudi poudarek na materializmu oz. blaginji, vendar pa smo tudi ugotovili, da se anketiranci v našem primeru še nagibajo k tradicionalnim družinskim vzorcem.

Title:	SOME FACTORS OF CHANGES IN FAMILIES WITH PRESCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract:	The purpose of the thesis, entitled Some factors of changes in families with preschool children has been to recognize and define the changes in the field of families that have occurred in recent decades. The thesis consists of two parts. In the theoretical part we presented and defined the concept of family, then the transition from modernism to post-modernism, presented the changes that have occurred in forms and compositions of families, as well as marital, fertility, societal and demographic changes. We also defined the role of a father, a mother and a child in the postmodern society. The empirical part covers the findings, which we obtained through a survey questionnaire which was completed by 80 parents of preschool children from Gornji Petrovci, Murska Sobota and Maribor. We wanted to know whether the resulting changes in family life is a consequence of pluralization of family forms, or if the modified forms of families led to the revised role of a father, a mother and a child, or if the modified consumer society affects the families or children. We also tried to find out if the Slovenians are prone to the traditional way of family life. All the data obtained were processed using the statistical program SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), and then presented in a table. It was concluded that changes in families in recent decades occurred; the role of a father, a mother and a child changed, as well as the forms of families. Changes in fertility, marriage and demographic changes occurred, the emphasis on materialism respectively prosperity increased, but we also found out that respondents in this case tend to the traditional family model.
