Abstract:
Pesticidi so snovi, ki jih uporabljamo za zatiranje škodljivcev, plevelov in rastlinskih bolezni. Kljub številnim zakonskim omejitvam je njihova uporaba močno razširjena. Zaradi široke uporabe in dostopnosti so prisotne zastrupitve pri človeku. V prispevku so opisani najpogosteje uporabljeni pesticidi v Sloveniji, njihov način delovanja, klinična slika in zdravljenje akutnih zastrupitev s pesticidi.

Intoxication with pesticides
Abstract:
Pesticides are agents intended for killing, preventing, repelling or mitigating any pest. They continue to be used extensively despite limiting regulations in many countries. Their widespread use and availability have contributed to making pesticide poisoning relatively common. The following text focuses on the most frequently used pesticides in Slovenia, along with their toxicology, diagnostic evaluation and management of patients after pesticide poisoning.
