Abstract:
Izhodišča. Navajamo in primerjamo prednosti tridimenzionalne proti dvodimenzionalni ultrazvočni preiskavi v prenatalni diagnostiki. Zaključki. Tridimenzionalna ultrazvočna preiskava predvsem v živi obliki omogoča, da že zgodaj v nosečnosti ob anatomiji ploda ocenjujemo še njegove motorične lastnosti. Bolj pogosta raba te preiskave v bližnji prihodnosti bo pokazala vse njene prednosti.

Title:
Usefulness of three-dimensional compared with two-dimensional ultrasound examination in obstetrics
Abstract:
Background. We are reporting and comparing what are the advantages of the three-dimensional in comparison with two-dimensional ultrasound examination inprenatal diagnostics. Conclusions. The three-dimensional ultrasound examination expecially in the live form enables to evaluate beside the anatomy also the motoric activities of the fetus already in the early pregnancy. A more frequent use of this examination in the near future will present all its advantages.
