Title:Innovation of older knowledge-based workers managment as a factor of innovation and labour market competitiveness as an economic subsystem
Abstract:Slovene labour market is ageing. The mentioned phenomena will bear economic and social consequences, which the Slovene society is not aware of. The employment is decreasing, influencing the productivity level, innovation and competitiveness of the labour market as well as the Slovene economy. The most worrisome fact is a low employment rate of knowledge-based workers as the most productive persons with skills and experiences, neglected by the society. The doctor thesis focuses on identification of major barriers for higher employment rate of elderly knowledge-based workers in Slovenia. Finland represents a good practice, a comparative EU member state, which started comprehensive set of measures and reforms to shift employment rate of elderly with substantial outcomes. On the basis of comparisons, analytical work followed by a survey, the doctor thesis presents a model, which enables higher employment rate of older knowledge-based workers. The mentioned model within chosen set of elements offers innovation of older knowledge-based management as a factor of innovation and competitiveness of Slovene labour market as well as the economy.
