Abstract:Pri operativnem zdravljenju uporabljamo različne izvore energije za sam operativni poseg z namenom rezanja tkiva in zaustavljanja krvavitev. Eksperimentalno raziskavo smo izvajali z elektrokirurškim generatorjem FORCE FX-8 in uporabili tri najpogostejše načine elektrokirurškega rezanja in koagulacije tkiva: bipolarno, monopolarno in ultrazvočno delovanje.

Title:MODELLING THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN ENERGY MODALITIES AND TISSUE IN THE OPERATIVE SURGICAL PROCEDURES
Abstract:In the operative treatment we use different sources of energy for procedure in order to cut tissue and stop bleeding. The purpose of the master thesis is to investigate the behavior of tissues in different settings of power generator and visually compare the impact of energy on the tissue. With the wrong energy settings, we can damage only tissue and the surrounding tissue. We developed the scenario for the simulation environment, where we simulate the operation of the electrosurgical unit. The experimental study was performed with the electrosurgical generator FORCE FX-8 and usage of the three most common ways of electrosurgical cutting and coagulation of tissue disorders: bipolar, unipolar and ultrasound effect. Due to rapid technological changes and serious competitors, new operating theater equipment and instruments are constantly coming on the market. Training of employees in the operating theater with the help of simulation procedures is the possibility of learning methods. This method offers a safe environment where the staff can learn effectively without ethical dilemmas and endangering the patient. At the same time also promotes and enables employees to renew their theoretical knowledge for the proper and appropriate behavior in a variety of situations in clinical practice.
