Title:	Pogledi na prijateljstvo moških in žensk

Abstract:	Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti moški in ženski vidik prijateljstva, torej razlike med moškimi in ženskimi prijateljstvi. V teoretičnem delu najprej povzamemo nekaj splošnih ugotovitev o prijateljstvu ter predstavimo, kako prijateljstvo opisujejo različni avtorji. V nadaljevanju se ustavimo pri nastanku in razvoju prijateljstva, opišemo njegove značilnosti in vrste. Ker pa se osredotočamo na predstavitev moškega in ženskega vidika prijateljstva, v nadaljevanju opišemo dojemanje razlik ter podobnosti med moškimi in ženskimi prijateljstvi. V empiričnem delu je bila uporabljena kvantitativna metoda zbiranja podatkov (anketa). Raziskovalni vzorec je obsegal 120 naključno izbranih moških in žensk, starih od 16 do 40 let. Zanimalo nas je, kaj jim pomeni prijateljstvo, kaj v prijateljskem odnosu najbolj cenijo moški in kaj ženske. Ugotovili smo, da moški najbolj cenijo zvestobo, ženske pa zaupanje, oboji pa kot glavni vzrok za »ohlajanje« prijateljstva navajajo zahrbtnost. Raziskali smo tudi, kaj moški in ženske menijo o napredovanju intimnosti v odnosu in ali prijateljstvo krepi medsebojna podobnost ali različnost. Podatke smo obdelali kvantitativno. Prikazani so grafično in tabelarno ter predstavljeni s pomočjo deskriptivne statistike. Za preverjanje razlik med spoloma smo uporabili t-test.

Title:	Views on friendship amongst men and women
Abstract:	The aim of the thesis is to present male-female aspects of friendship, what are the differences between male and female friendships. In the beginning a theoretical part summarizes some general conclusions about friendships and gives its description from different authors. Secondly, we come across the creation and development of friendship, its characteristics and types. Since our focus is on presenting male and female aspects of friendship, we describe perception of differences and similarities among male and female friendships in the following chapters. In the empirical part the quantitative technique of selecting data was used, i.e. survey. The research sample consisted of 120 randomly selected men and women aged 16–40 years. We were interested in what friendship means to them, and what men and women most appreciate in this kind of relation. We found out that is loyalty which is the most appreciated by men and trust by women, however both believe that the reason friendships cool down to be treachery. We were also researching, what men and women think about progress of intimacy in relationship and whether mutual similarities or differences make friendship stronger. Data were analysed quantitatively. They are shown in graphic and tabular manner, and presented using descriptive statistics. In order to verify the differences between the sexes, we used t-test.
