Abstract:	Distribucija farmacevtskega blaga je zaradi občutljivosti ter vplivov na zdravje ljudi visoko regulirana dejavnost. Temeljna zahteva distribucije farmacevtskih izdelkov je zagotavljanje istovetnosti izdelka v celotni dobavni verigi – od proizvajalca do pacienta – in predstavlja pomembno dejavnost v celotni dobavni verigi farmacevtskih izdelkov. V delu so predstavljene vloge ter vrste skladišč, ki se uporabljajo v distribuciji farmacevtskih izdelkov. Prav tako pa so obravnavani organiziranost skladiščenja in skladiščni procesi. Temelj učinkovitega komisioniranja je v optimalnem razmeščanju blaga v skladišču. Ta temelji na skladiščnem načrtu, ki izkorišča skladiščni prostor z različnimi načini razmeščanja izdelkov v različna skladiščna območja. K temu pa pripomorejo tudi premiki blaga, ki skrajšujejo komisionirne transportne poti. Preverjane so možnosti skrajšanja časa priprave naročil pri razporeditvah blaga v različna skladiščno-komisionirna območja. Zaradi kratkih odzivnih časov pri oskrbi odjemalcev – lekarn je velik poudarek na čim krajšem času komisioniranja. Predstavljene so kompleksnost komisionirnih sistemov ter njihove možnosti pri komisioniranju farmacevtskega blaga. Zajete so ideje, kako je mogoče zmanjševati čas izvedbe naročila. Prav tako pa je bilo ugotavljano, ali je mogoče z avtomatizacijo skladiščnega poslovanja skrajšati čas priprave blaga za odjemalca in kako avtomatizacija vpliva na odjemalčevo zadovoljstvo. Predstavljene pa so tudi vloge skladiščnih informacijskih sistemov – WMS (angl. warehouse management system) ter WCS (angl. warehouse control system) v skladiščnem poslovanju, ki omogočajo vodenje in nadzor nad kompleksnimi skladiščnimi procesi.

Title:	Optimization of warehousing and picking in distribution of pharmaceutical products
Abstract:	Distribution of pharmaceutical goods is due to the sensitivity and influence on human health highly regulated activity. The fundamental requirement of the distribution of pharmaceutical products is quality assurance of the product throughout the whole supply chain - from the manufacturer to the patient, and represents an important activity in the entire supply chain of the pharmaceutical products. Roles and types of warehouses used in the distribution of pharmaceutical products are described in the thesis. The thesis also deals with the organization of storage and storage processes. The cornerstone of effective picking process is optimal allocation of goods in the warehouse. It is based on the warehouse storage plan that allocates the products to different storage zones using different storage principles. By internal movements of goods, it is additionally possible to reduce picking routes. The possibilities of shortening the orders’ preparation time in the distribution of goods in various storage and picking zones were verified. Due to the short response times in the supply of customers - pharmacies, the emphasis is on the shortest possible picking time. The thesis presents the complexity of picking systems and their possibilities in the picking process of the pharmaceutical goods. It includes the ideas of how to reduce the picking time of an order. It was also determined whether it is possible to shorten the preparation time of goods for the customer with automation of the warehouse activity, and how the automation affects the customer's satisfaction. There are also roles of warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) in managing and controlling the complex warehousing operations presented.
