Abstract:
Diplomsko delo temelji na razvoju svetlobnega znaka "prehod za pešce". Takšen znak opozarja voznike, da se približujejo mestu, kjer je s talnimi označbami označen prehod za pešce čez cesto. Raziskovalno delo ponazarja rekonstrukcijo obstoječega znaka z namenom dodajanja novih tehničnih komponent, ki zagotavljajo daljšo življenjsko dobo ob nižji porabi električne energije.

DEVELOPMENT OF ILLUMINATED SIGN "PEDESTRIAN CROSSING"
Abstract:
This thesis is based on the development of the traffic sign "pedestrian crossing". This type of sign, alerts the drivers that they are approaching a place, where the pedestrian crossing is marked with road markings. Research describes the reconstruction of the existing sign and shows its further development by adding new technical components in order to achieve longer lifetime together with reduced power consumption.
