Abstract:Radgonsko-Kapelske gorice so z vidika vinogradništva med najpomembnejšimi pokrajinami v Sloveniji. Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti razvoj vinogradništva skozi najpomembnejše faze, ki so zaznamovale preteklo obdobje in sedanjost. Študij strokovne literature, internetnih virov ter zbiranje informacij in podatkov na terenu so bili podlaga ustvarjanja diplomskega dela.

Title:Socio-economic characteristics of viticulture in Radgonsko-Kapelske gorice
Abstract:From the perspective of viticulture the hills of Radgonsko-Kapelske gorice are one of the most important regions in Slovenia. The goal of the graduation thesis is to present the development of viticulture through the most important phases which marked the past and the present. The study of expert literature, internet sources as well as gathering information and data in the field were the basis of making the graduation thesis. The new development paradigm of the countryside changed the role of agriculture and consequently viticulture in the conception of the rural area. Viticulture plays an important role in the scope of maintaining the cultural landscape. Natural and cultural resources enable further development of the industry in the direction of job creation and connection with the tourist activity which has great development possibilities in this area. In the future greater cooperation will be necessary between local partners because only this will overcome the shortcomings which are reflected in the smallness and subsequently inaccessibility on the market. Winemakers have to be oriented towards creating added value in their products and services which are based in natural resources and tradition which is reflected in the success of the company Radgonske gorice JSC and is a story of success in viticulture and winemaking of Radgonsko-Kapelske gorice.
