Zanimale so nas razlike in podobnosti v vidikih duševnega zdravja.

Title:COMPARISON OF DIFERENT MENTAL HEALTH ASPECTS OF ELDERLY FROM DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS
Abstract:he process of aging brings changing on the physical and mental health of an individual. As the world population grows older and the younger population struggles with the lack of time, several questions in regards to the care of elderly can be identified. In our research, we took a closer look at the elderly who live in their own homes and those who live in residential care. We were mainly interested in differences and similarities in aspects of mental health. We examined whether the use of information and communications technology (ICT) has any connection to the aspects of mental health.
Keywords:The quantitative part was comprised of completing the questionnaires which examine the level of mental health (DASS 21, WHO5, PSS, INQ 15), whilst the qualitative part consisted of commenting of research hypothesis. Synthesised results showed that there are some differences in researched aspects of mental health, namely those who live in residential care, in comparison to those who live at home, statistically reach much higher average on the depression scale, regarding their living environment, elderly perceive themselves differently as a burden and possess a different level of affiliation, statistically, elderly living at home use much more of ICT comparing to those living in residential care, the less of different ICT they use, the greater are the expressions of depression, perceiving themselves as burden and suicidal ideation.
