Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Koncept idile v Bartolovi kratki prozi je Bartolova izbrana kratka proza obravnavana skozi vidik idile, tj. slikovitega prostorsko-statičnega opisa človekovega harmoničnega sobivanja z naravo.

Title:The Concept of Idyll in Bartol's Short Prose
Abstract:The thesis titled “The Concept of Idyll in Bartol's Short Prose” concerns the analysis of Bartol's selected short prose through the concept of idyll, namely through vivid spatial-static descriptions of man's harmonious co-existence with nature. In texts, the latter appears only in individual components and it is often dismantled as a result of the writer’s highly non-sentimental orientation. The most frequent types of idyll are rural (rural in opposition to urban), mountain and night. Together with forest paths, they form a frequent chronotope. Bartol formed and then deconstructed the idyll by incorporating the symbolism of colors, animals and fantastical elements into the setting. Idyllic places, especially gardens, occur in dreams that have played an important role in Bartol's life as well as in his literary creativity.
Keywords:Vladimir Bartol, short prose, idyll, locus amoenus, rural idyll, mountain idyll, night idyll
