Abstract:	Dandanes si uspešnega poslovanja podjetja ne moremo zamisliti brez dobre informacijske podpore. Računalniški programi in spletne aplikacije so postali ključnega pomena za hiter in učinkovit boj s konkurenco. Zato je celovita informacijska rešitev temelj dobrega poslovanja podjetja. V diplomski nalogi je raziskana presoja primernosti celovite informacijske rešitve X-bir za računovodski servis. V prvem in drugem delu so proučene teoretične in zakonske značilnosti računovodstva, ki se navezujejo na računovodske servise, in informacijska podpora računovodstvu. Tukaj smo ugotovili, da v večini delo računovodskega servisa obsega knjigovodenje, računovodsko predračunavanje, analiziranje, nadziranje in informiranje, pa je bolj značilno za notranje računovodstvo večjih podjetij. V tretjem delu pa smo proučili teoretični in praktični vidik računalniškega programa X-bir za računovodski servis. Ugotovili smo, da lahko program v celoti podpira vsa področja računovodstva, če so pravilno vneseni vsi parametri in kontrole, vendar se računovodski servisi v večini poslužujejo samo knjigovodenja.

Title:	Assessment of the suitabilitiy of comprehensive information solutions X-Bir for an accounting practice
Abstract:	Nowadays successful business cannot be imagined without a good IT support. Computer programs and web applications have become essential for a fast and effective encounter with the competition. Therefore, a comprehensive IT solution is a cornerstone of a good management. In the thesis the adequacy of the comprehensive IT solution X-bir for accounting firm was assessed. In the first and the second part the theoretical and legal features of accounting related to accounting firms were explored as well as accounting IT support. Here we found that the majority of an accounting service comprises of bookkeeping, whereas budgeting, analysis, auditing and information services are more typical for internal accounting of bigger companies. In the third part the theoretical and practical aspects of the computer program X-bir for accounting firms was examined. We found that the program can fully support all areas of accounting given when all parameters and controls are entered correctly, however, the accounting firms mostly make use of the bookkeeping only.
