Title:RAZVOJ MISIJONSKE IDEJE SKOZI ČAS IN PATER MIHA DREVENŠEK V ZAMBIJI

Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Razvoj misijonske ideje skozi čas in pater Miha Drevenšek v Zambiji obravnava tematiko razvoja misijonske ideje in zgodovine misijonarjev v Afriki in Zambiji, v ospredje pa postavlja sociološki ter antropološki vidik misijonarstva in dela patra Mihe Drevenška. Osnovni namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti, kako se je misijonska ideja razvijala skozi čas, sociološki pogled na misijonsko dejavnost ter predstaviti življenje in delo patra Mihe Drevenška. V sklopu teoretičnega dela naloge smo s pomočjo zgodovinske metode spoznali bližnjo in daljno preteklost misijonov ter posameznih misijonarjev. Z metodo klasifikacije in s pomočjo interpretacije dokumentov smo opisali posamezna dejstva in pojme. V empiričnem delu pa smo uporabili delno strukturiran intervju, s pomočjo katerega smo dobili več informacij o patru Drevenšku. Ugotovili smo, da se življenje in delo misijonarjev, v primerjavi s preteklostjo, danes močno razlikuje. Nekoč je delo misijonarjev temeljilo na tem, da bi krstili čim več ljudi, imeli so posebne prednosti in uživali so ugled. Bili so prvi jezikoslovci, skrbeli so za izobraževanje ljudi in živeli so med domačini. Danes pa je večji poudarek na sodelovanju z domačimi duhovniki, pri njihovem delu je bolj upoštevana domača kultura, skrbijo za revne in širijo evangelij v lokalnem jeziku. Misijonarjevo delo ni samo širitev vere, ampak zajema mnogo več. Misijonarji so pomembni za širitve družbenih sprememb in inovacij ter v splošno pomoč ljudem v državah tretjega sveta, kamor se misijonarji največkrat odpravijo. Vse to je delal tudi p. Miha Drevenšek. Pomagal je revnim, širil inovacije in svoje ideje med Zambijci ter spreminjal življenja ljudi. S svojimi projekti, tudi po smrti, posredno pomaga revnim, domačini pa ga vidijo kot svetnika.

Title:DEVELOPMENT OF MISSIONARY IDEA THE TROUGH TIME AND FATHER MIHA DREVENŠEK IN ZAMBIA
Abstract:The thesis, entitled The development of missionary ideas over time and Father Miha Drevenšek in Zambia, addresses the issue of the development of missionary ideas and the history of missionaries in Africa and Zambia, with the emphasis on the sociological and anthropological aspect of the missionary work of Father Miha Drevenšek. The primary purpose of the thesis was to show how the missionary idea evolved over time, to present the sociological view of missionary activity, and the life and work of Father Miha Drevenšek. Within the theoretical part of this thesis, using the historical method, we introduced the near and distant past of missions and individual missionaries. The method of classification and interpretation of the documents was used to describe the specific facts and concepts. For the empirical part of the thesis, the partially structured interview was used to get more information about Father Drevenšek. We found that the life and work of missionaries today is different than it was in the past. Once, the work of the missionaries was based on the aim to christen as many people as possible, they had special advantages and reputation. They were the first linguists; they cared for the education of people and lived among the natives. Today, however, there is more emphasis on cooperation with local priests, domestic culture is more considered at their work and they care for the poor and spread the gospel in the local language. The work of a missionary is not only to spread faith, but it covers much more. Missionaries are important for the expansion of social changes, innovations and overall help to people in third world countries, where they are mostly sent off to. Father Miha Drevenšek has done all of that. He helped the poor, spread innovations and ideas between Zambians and changed people's lives. Even after his death, he continues to help the poor through his projects and the locals see him as a saint.
