Abstract:Diplomsko delo prikazuje značilnosti govora vasi Razvanje, ki leži na jugovzhodnem delu občine Maribor. Samostalniki in pridevniki v ednini ločijo vse tri spole.

Title:SPEECH IN RAZVANJE
Abstract:The graduation thesis shows the characteristics of the speech of village Razvanje, which lies in the south-eastern part of Maribor municipality. The purpose of the graduation thesis is to find vernacular characteristics of the place and to analyse them on individual levels. The analysis of vernacular characteristics was based on the vocabulary summarised from The Interrogative for the Slovenian Linguistic Atlas and the speech of locals. The speech of Razvanje belongs to north-Styrian dialects, more particularly to the speech of eastern Pohorje. Only long accentuated vowels that have also developed into diphthongs are typical for the speech of Razvanje, as well as for other north-Styrian dialects. The consonants are preserved, some lose their vocality; the groups čre- and žre- are also preserved. Singular nouns and adjectives distinguish all three genders. A special characteristic are neuter gender nouns, which are feminised or (rarely) masculinised in dual and plural. Most nouns are declined after fixed stress type. Only fixed adjectives are used in the speech of Razvanje; the comparatives and superlatives are formed mostly with more/less (bolj/manj) or most/least (najbolj/najmanj), while there are less comparatives and superlatives formed with suffixes. Use of the short infinitive is typical, while the long infinitive is used rarely or almost never. Simple compound sentences are typical for the speech of Razvanje, sentence components stand in various places in a sentence, the conjunction pa is commonly used. Coordinate and subordinate clauses are used in the same way as in standard Slovene. The speech contains a lot of dialectal words and loanwords, mostly from German.
Keywords:dialectology, Styrian dialect group, speech of eastern Pohorje, Razvanje, speech of Razvanje.
