Raziskala sem zunanje lastnosti otrok, osebnostne lastnosti, čustveno stanje otroka in odnose.

Title:The figure of a child in the youth literature of Ivan Potrč and poetry of Ljuba Skornšek
Abstract:The diploma thesis with the title The figure of a child in the youth literature of Ivan Potrč and poetry of Ljuba Skornšek discusses child character in some »fairy tales« of Ivan Potrč, which were written during the World War II for his son Vanč and some poems of Ljuba Skornšek which were also written during the World War II and were also dedicated to her son Vanč. They left their child at home with his grandparents during the struggle for independence of Slovene territory from the occupier. The subject of the analysis of this thesis are literal works that deal with fatherly feelings that appeared due to his absence and also the love of a mother who decided to dedicate herself for higher goals; to fight for freedom for a better future for next generations. This diploma thesis includes short stories that either contain a character named Vanč or are just dedicated to their son Vanč. Although the stories were named fairy tales, they cannot always be classified as such. Animals, which are hanging out with Vanč and are helping him with loneliness, have the main role in selected short stories. Physical characteristics, personal characteristics, child's feelings and relationships were analyzed too. I found out, that writing »fairy tales«« helped Ivan Potrč to beat internal pain, which was caused by the separation from his son. Ljuba Skornšek expressed her feelings even more in her motherly poems. Her poems are impregnated with pain and suffer, but at the same time they express hope for freedom and a will to live. At the end we can sum up that Ivan Potrč and Ljuba Skornšek were fighting the biggest fight with their son Vanč.
