Abstract:	Diplomsko delo z naslovom Romani in krajša proza pisateljice Karoline Kolmanič se ukvarja z njenim bogatim literarnim opusom za odrasle, predvsem s kratko prozo in romani ter s strukturo in literarnimi liki v njenih delih. Pisateljica je v širšem slovenskem literarnem prostoru slabo poznana, zato delo najprej predstavlja njeno življenjsko in ustvarjalno pot. Najbolj prepoznavna je sicer v severovzhodnem delu države, kjer živi in ustvarja. Pisateljičino ime redko zasledimo v preglednicah slovenskih literarnih ustvarjalcev, tudi literarna zgodovina je ne omenja pogosto. Literarne kritike njenih del skorajda ni, dosedanje delo so ovrednotile le krajše objave v različnih revijah in spremne besede v izdajah njenih literarnih del. Te so povečini pozitivne, nekaj pa jih je tudi zelo kritičnih. Diplomsko delo predstavlja in analizira obsežen literarni opus pisateljice Karoline Kolmanič s poudarkom na delih za odrasle, torej romanih, povestih in kratki prozi. Delo podrobno osvetli strukturo njenih romanov in kratke proze ter literarne like v njih. Ker je ženska najpogosteje osrednji literarni lik v njenih proznih delih, je le-ta predstavljena v svojih različnih življenjskih vlogah, moški pa kot stranski in zato nič manj pomembni liki.

Title:	The Novels and Short Stories from the Writer Karolina Kolmanič
Abstract:	Diploma work titled The Novels and Short Stories from the Writer Karolina Kolmanič deals with her rich literary opus for adults, especially with the short prose and novels, and with the structure and literary characters in her works. Karolina Kolmanič is a writer, who is poorly known in the wider Slovene literary space, so her life and her creative path are introduced first. The writer is the most recognisable in the north-eastern part of the country, where she lives and creates. The writer’s name is rarely found in the tables of the Slovenian literary creators, also the literary history doesn’t mention her often. The literary criticism of her work is almost non-existent. So far the writer’s works have been evaluated only by shorter publications in various journals, and by the accompanying words in the editions of her literary works. These are mostly positive, but some of them are also very critical. Diploma work presents and analyses the writer’s extensive literary opus with a focus on works for adults, such as her novels, stories and short prose. The structure of writer’s novels, short stories and literary characters are described in details. Because a woman is the most common central character in her work, is she often presented in various life roles. At the same time, a man is presented as an important side literary character.
