Abstract:Potreba po mobilnosti in učinkovitem prevoznem sredstvu je privedla do izuma avtomobila ter posledično do nastanka in razvoja avtomobilske industrije. Obenem smo podali smernice nadaljnjega razvoja avtomobilske industrije in na podlagi pridobljenih podatkov sklepali, kakšna bo prihodnost razvoja avtomobilske industrije v izbranima državama.

Title:The influence of the avtomotive industry on socio-economic changes in the Czech Republic and Slovenia
Abstract:The need for mobility and an efficient transportation media generated the construction of an automotive industry, which has recently been recognized in numerous European countries as the most important economy factor with its huge impact on the environment and humans. The thesis is focused on the impact of the automotive industry on economy and social changes in the Czech Republic and in Slovenia. To understand the complexity of topic it was necessary to initially introduce some key items related to the automotive industry and make the historic survey of traffic development, followed by the introduction of automotive industry as an important generator of economic changes (that being actually the goal of the thesis). The compiled analysis and comparison of the automotive industry in both targeted countries were limited by the indexes revealing the integration of automotive industry into the environment. In the targeted countries there were chosen the Škoda Factory in the Czech Republic and Revoz in Slovenia. Since a selective interest of foreign investors in some of the industries, it was interesting to conduct also such kind of the analysis. It showed, that the Czech Republic is much more attractive and suitable for foreign investors, nonetheless due to a favourable business climate and systematic approach to the foreign investments and investors. We could also deduct the development direction of the automotive industry and the future prospects of the automotive industry in each of the countries analysed.
