Abstract:Cilj vsakega akterja v prodajni verigi je povečanje obsega prodaje in posledično doseganje dobrega poslovnega rezultata. V prvem delu smo predstavili teoretična izhodišča projektnega vodenja in prenove poslovnih procesov.

Title:Development of retail positioning process for alcoholic spirits
Abstract:The objective of each market operator in the sales chain is to increase sales volume and as a result achieve good business results. It is widely known that appropriate positioning and presentation of products to consumers can improve sales and that adapting the offer to consumers is a continuous and repeating process. The diploma thesis examined the project of development of retail positioning process for alcoholic spirits at a sales point, which will achieve better execution of altering the shelves where the products are on display in the future. In the first part we presented the theoretical foundations of project management and renovation of business processes. In the second, applicative part, we examined the specific process. Based on a detailed record of the situation and analysis we identified the problem area of the existing process and suggested six process improvements and issued three system suggestions. The noted improvements have included process renovation, change of the organisational structure of the company, introduction of IT support, using the Gantt chart and improving communication and information flow. We found that by introducing the proposed changes the existing process would significantly shorten. The result of the thesis is therefore a model for the retail positioning process for alcoholic spirits at a sales point, which will in the future allow operators a smooth and optimal project implementation.
