Abstract:
Namen magistrskega dela je spoznati in proučiti stopnjo in razvoj glasbene nadarjenosti pri avtističnih otrocih glede na njihovo starost in spol. Želeli smo izpostaviti, da je glasbena nadarjenost prav tako prisotna pri otrocih z avtizmom in da pripomore k celovitemu razvoju otroka. V magistrskem delu so opisane glasbene sposobnosti, glasbena nadarjenost in različni pogledi pomembnih avtorjev na odkrivanje in razvijanje glasbene nadarjenosti. Želeli smo ugotoviti, kako prepoznamo in razvijamo glasbeno nadarjenost pri otrocih z avtizmom ter kakšen je vpliv družine in okolja pri razvijanju glasbene nadarjenosti pri avtističnih otrocih. V empiričnem delu smo želeli ugotoviti, koliko otrok z avtizmom v starosti od 8 do 13 let ima višje razvite glasbene sposobnosti ter ali so otroci z avtizmom vključeni tudi v redno glasbeno izobraževanje. Z magistrskim delom želimo spodbuditi zgodnje načine odkrivanja in razvijanja glasbene nadarjenosti in opozoriti na pomen le-te na celoten razvoj otrok z motnjo avtističnega spektra.

Title:
DEVELOPMENT MUSICAL TALENT IN CHILDREN WITH AUTISM
Abstract:
The purpose of the master's thesis was to find out and to study the level and the development of musical talent in children with autism according to their age and gender. In the thesis it is emphasized that musical talent is present in children with autism as well, and that it contributes to the complete child development. The master’s thesis comprises evolutionary and neurological aspects of music. Musical abilities, musical talent and some typical views of different authors on discovering and developing of musical talent are described. I wanted to found out how musical talent is recognized and developed in children with autism, and what is the influence of the family and the environment on the development of musical talent in children with autism. The empirical part presents the research on how many children with autism aged between 8 and 13 have highly developed musical abilities. Furthermore, it explores the question if children with autism are integrated into regular music education. The aim of the thesis is to encourage early methods of discovering and developing of musical talent, and emphasize its importance for the complete development of children with autism spectrum disorders.
