Abstract:Magistrska naloga primerja učinkovitost hlajenja glave ob uporabi vode in hladilnega gela.

Title:Single and multiphase cooling of brain with a cooling helmet
Abstract:Master thesis compares effectiveness of brain cooling with water and cooling gel. In the thesis are introduced the primary principles of heat transfer, choosing of thermoregulatory model, analytical and numerical simulation of cooling with either water or cooling gel. With comparison of results we found out that the effectiveness of cooling with gel is not so much better that it would make sense to use it, especially considering the need to change cooling pads.
Keywords:Numerical simulation, brain cooling, cooling helmet, ANSYS, heat transfer, phase-change
