Analiza zajema pet literarnih besedil: Marjan Rožanc Ljubezen (1979), Branko Hofman Noč do jutra (1981), Vitomil Zupan Levitan (1982), Igor Torkar Umiranje na obroke (1984) in Mira Mihelič Ure mojih dni (1985). V magistrskem delu so natančneje obravnavani naslednji pojmi: spominska proza, avtobiografija in avtobiografski roman.
Keywords:Spomini, spominska proza, avtobiografija, avtobiografski roman, kriza, žrtev.

Title:The Main Character as a Victim in Selected Works of Literature of Slovenian Commemorative Prose
Abstract:In the master’s thesis with the title The Main Character as a Victim in Selected Works of Literature of Slovenian Commemorative Prose I tried to establish whether the main character in individual works of literature is a victim of the given situation, happening or social events. In the event that the character is a victim, I explained the reason why, and who sees him as such. I was interested in knowing if the main character himself feels like a victim or if society or the reader sees him as such. The analysis covers five works of literature: Marjan Rožanc Ljubezen (1979), Branko Hofman Noč do jutra (1981), Vitomil Zupan Levitan (1982), Igor Torkar Umiranje na obroke (1984) and Mira Mihelič Ure mojih dni (1985). The master’s thesis deals with the following concepts in more detail: commemorative prose, autobiography and autobiographical novel. I also tried to establish whether the main person is experiencing a crisis because of the turn of events and the influence of society. The crisis can have several causes – moral/mental crisis, political crisis, personal crisis or existential crisis. I explained how this crisis is shown. The analysis showed that all the main characters are victims of the given situation, happening or social events, because it is a turbulent period before, during and after the Second World War. All main characters are also experiencing crises, which are intertwined and have different causes.
Keywords:Memories, commemorative prose, autobiography, autobiographical novel, crisis, victim.
