Abstract:
Na območju JZ Prlekije smo anketno analizirali ponudbo ekološke pridelave, trženje in zadovoljstvo kmetovalcev z ekološkim kmetijstvom ter njihovo zadovoljstvo z delom strokovnih in vladnih služb. Iz analize je razvidno, da se je največ kmetovalcev vključilo v ekološko kmetovanje v 2010 (17 %). Pri pridobivanju statusa ekološke kmetije je največjo težavo predstavljalo pomanjkljivo vodenje zapisov (27 %) in neustrezno kolobarjenje (17 %). Prevladujejo kmetije z velikostjo manj kot 10 ha (68 %), ležeče med od 200 in 250 m nad morjem (60 %). Največ gospodarjev je starejših od 50 let (60 %), kmetije pa imajo od 1 do 3 člane (43 %). Kmetje pričakujejo največjo podporo pristojnih državnih služb pri prenosu znanja z izdajanjem tiskanih ali elektronskih informacij (60 %) ter propagandi ekološkega kmetijstva (57 %). Anketirani so večinoma (53 %) zadovoljni z odkupnimi cenami. Niso pa zadovoljni s sodelovanjem strokovnih služb (67 %). Več kot polovica (57 %) jih ne more širiti obsega pridelave.

ANALYSIS OF SUPPLY POTENTIAL OF ORGANIC FOODSTAFFS IN THE AREA OF PRLEKIJA
Abstract:
Based on field visits of organic farms and the survey interviews with organic farmers in the area of SW Prlekija we analyzed the supply of organic production, marketing, and attitude of farmers to organic agriculture as well as their satisfaction with the work of professional and government offices. The analysis shows that the majority of farmers entered the organic farming in 2010 (17%). For obtaining the status of organic farms, the greatest difficulties presented the keeping of insufficient records (27%) and inadequate crop rotation (17%). Results pointed out prevailing farms with a size less than 10 hectares (68%), lying between 200 and 250 m above sea level (60%). Most farmers were older than 50 years (60%) and the farms had from 1 to 3 members (43%). Farmers expect maximum support from relevant government departments to transfer their knowledge by publishing of printed or electronic information (60%) and the propaganda of organic farming (57%). Respondents were mostly (53%) satisfied with the purchase prices. However, they were not content with the contribution of professional services (67%). More than half of the farms analyzed (57%), could not expand their production.
