Title:VPLIV OKOLJA NA TENIŠKI KLUB SPIN MEDVODE

Abstract:Namen diplomske naloge je s pomočjo strokovne literature, analize elementov okolja in s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika proučiti elemente okolja, njihove vsebine vplivanja ter vpliv okolja na poslovne funkcije, management in poslanstvo kluba. Cilj analize elementov okolja, ki se dotikajo TK Spin, je najti potencialne priložnosti in nevarnosti, ki so v okolju kluba. Hkrati se poizkuša z anketo ugotoviti prednosti in slabosti TK Spin v primerjavi z ostalimi klubi v raziskavi. Namen oziroma cilj raziskave je z anketnim vprašalnikom preučiti TK Spin Medvode in tekmovalne klube v bližnjih regijah, ki so na lestvici najboljših tekmovalnih klubov uvrščeni med 30. najboljših klubov, kar pomeni, da imajo usmerjenost, dejavnosti in cilje dovolj podobne TK Spin Medvode. Iz njihovih odgovorov se želi pridobiti morebitne ideje, predloge in ukrepe, ki bi vodstvu TK Spin pomagale pri trenutnem spopadanju z nespodbudnim lokalnim okoljem in sestavljanju strateškega načrta za poslovanje kluba. TK Spin je s cilji in operativnimi aktivnostmi tekmovalni klub z visokimi tekmovalnimi ambicijami in veliko registriranimi tekmovalci glede na število članov. Stroški programov tekmovalnega tenisa na otroka so precej višji kot rekreativni programi, plačilna zmožnost staršev pa nižja kot pred leti. Sofinancirana sredstva so se na razpisu v občini Medvode v zadnjih letih precej zmanjšala, še bolj pa sofinancirana sredstva klubu, zato je nastala težava, ker sta glavna finančna vira prihodkov kluba v stagnaciji. Zaradi pomanjkanja igrišč v zimskem času klub prilagaja vadbo tekmovalnih programov, ne uspe pa tudi opravljati storitev in programov mladine in odraslih, ki so donosnejše od tekmovalnih programov. Pri vodstvu kluba nastaja dilema oz. problem, ali zadržati in celo povečati tekmovalno usmerjenost ob nespodbudnih vsebinah lokalnega in drugega okolja ali spremeniti aktivnosti in poslanstvo. Z raziskavo smo ugotovili, kako se s spreminjajočim in nespodbudnim lokalnim okoljem ter njegovimi vsebinami spopadajo »sorodni klubi« ter kakšne rešitve in poteze vlečejo vodstva klubov. Prav tako smo dognali kako ukrepajo ob morebitnem padcu sofinanciranja športnih programov občine, kakšne izkušnje imajo s sofinanciranjem zaposlenih trenerjev ter ugotovili njihovo reševanje težav ob pomanjkanju igrišč. Z raziskavo ankete in analizo elementov okolja smo ugotovili, da je največja priložnost in hkrati rešitev za mnogo slabosti TK Spin zgraditev in upravljanje novega teniškega centra v športnem parku. Spoznali smo, da bi na novo zgrajenih igriščih lahko organizirali tekmovanja pod okriljem TZS in s tem dobili dodatna finančna sredstva ter v zimskem času organizirali donosnejše programe. Zaključili smo, da bi nove aktivnosti preprečile veliko finančno odvisnost od občinskega sofinanciranja programov in plačilne sposobnosti staršev. Hkrati bi z novimi igrišči še razširili paleto dejavnosti v klubu in ponudili programe širši množici ljudi.

Title:INFLUENCE OF ENVIRONMENT ON TENNIS CLUB SPIN MEDVODE
Abstract:The aim of this thesis is to examine environmental factors, the influences of these factors, and their impact on the business functions, management and mission of TK Spin through the use of scientific literature, the analysis of environmental factors and with the help of a survey. The objective of the analysis of the environmental factors that affect TK Spin is to find potential opportunities and threats to the club. At the same time, the survey attempts to identify the strengths and weaknesses of TK Spin compared with other clubs in the survey. The purpose of the research is to examine five clubs in nearby municipalities which are comparable with TK Spin Medvode in regards to the number of their members and competitive players through the use of a survey. From the survey answers, possible ideas, suggestions and measures could be used by TK Spin management to help address the current disincentive from the local environment and for drawing up a strategic plan for the business operations of the club. With its goals and operational activities, TK Spin represents a club with high competitive ambitions and a large number of registered competitors per member ratio. The cost of competitive tennis programs per child are much higher than in recreational programs and the parents' ability to pay is lower than a year ago. The amount of funds tendered in the municipality of Medvode has decreased significantly in recent years. And even to a greater degree, funds to the club have decreased. Thus, this has created a problem because the main financial source of revenue of the club has stagnated. Due to a lack of tennis courts in winter, the club has had to adjust competitive program training as well as not being able to provide adequate services and programs for youth and adults, which are more profitable than competitive programs. This has created a dilemma for club management- retain and even increase the competitive orientation by discouraging local and other environmental factors or modify the activities and mission. This research has found how the changing and discouraging local environment and its factors also affect similar clubs, as well as what solutions and moves have been taken by the management of these clubs. How they react to reduced funding of sports programs by the municipality, what experiences they have with funding coaching staff and how they solve problems related to a lack of courts. Research into the survey and analysis of the environmental factors have suggested that the greatest opportunity and also possible solutions to many of the weaknesses that TK Spin has is in the construction and management of a new tennis center in the sport park. It also has been ascertained that organized competitions under the auspices of TZS could be held on these newly built courts and thus additional funding could be attained. Furthermore, organized profitable programs could be implemented in winter. We have found that these new activities would avoid large financial dependence on municipally funded programs and the financial capabilities of parents.
