Title:TRENDI NA PODROČJU ELEKTRONSKIH PLAČILNIH INSTRUMENTOV IN ELEKTRONSKEGA DENARJA

Abstract:Na trg dnevno prihajajo tehnologije, nove, boljše, izboljšane. Tako je tudi v elektronskem bančništvu, ki je za naš vsakdan bistvenega pomena. Prednosti novih digitalnih elektronskih tehnologij so prinesle veliko pozitivnih sprememb na svetovnih plačilnih trgih. Digitalne storitve, na primer mobilne denarnice, se povezujejo s plačilnimi karticami in bodo mora nekoč alternativa gotovinskemu poslovanju. Nastajajo nove oblike digitalnega elektronskega denarja, ki imajo na globalnem plačilnem trgu vedno večjo moč, prav zaradi svojih posebnih specifičnosti. Transakcije prenosa in prejema denarja so vsak dan hitrejše in preprostejše. Novim trendom v tehnologijah elektronskih plačilnih instrumentov niso šli nasproti samo trgovci, ampak tudi vse bančno-finančne inštitucije, ki si želijo optimizirati poslovanje in pridobiti na konkurenčnosti, ter posledično večjem tržnem deležu. Novi plačilni trendi tehnologij stremijo k enostavnejši uporabi, varčnosti in ekonomičnosti ter se spreminjajo v skladu z razvojem novih tehnologij. Na drugi strani pa imamo trgovce in podjetja, ki morajo biti v koraku z novimi plačilnimi tehnologijami, da se približajo kupcu in ostanejo na trgu konkurenčni, kar bo posledično pozitivno vplivalo na njihovo poslovanje. Cilj raziskovalne naloge je bil seznaniti se z novimi trendi elektronskih plačilnih instrumentov in elektronskega denarja in jih tudi podrobneje predstaviti.

Title:TRENDS IN THE FIELD OF ELECTRONIC PAYMENT INSTRUMENTS AND ELECTRONIC MONEY
Abstract:Every day new, better and improved technologies are entering the market. This is also the case in electronic banking, which is essential for our daily life. The advantages of new electronic technologies have brought many positive changes to the global payment market. Digital services, such as mobile wallets, are nowadays easily connected to debit and credit cards. Perhaps someday they will also become an alternative to cash transactions. New forms of digital electronic money have appeared on the market and they are becoming increasingly powerful owing to their specificity. Transactions, i.e. transferring and receiving electronic money, are becoming faster and easier. Not just retailers, but also banks and financial institutions were interested and started following new electronic payment trends. The goal is to optimise business operations, reduce costs, gain time, become more competitive and consequently get a larger global market share. New technologies and payment trends are aiming to be easier to use, more economic and efficient. On the other hand, traders and entrepreneurs need to be acquainted with new payment trends that consumers really like. Knowing electronic payment trends will ensure competitiveness in the market and have a positive impact on their business operation. The goal of the study was to explore the trends in the field of electronic payment instruments and electronic money.
