Abstract:Dokument zajema način poglabljanja morskega dna ter problematiko nadaljnjega ravnanja z izkopanim sedimentom.

Title:DEEP-SEA DREDGING
Abstract:The document encompasses a method of deep-sea dredging and the issue of further handling of the dredged sediment. The thesis contains information on why the seabed needs deepening, how to avoid shrinkage of sea area and expand the waterways. We find the most appropriate ways of maintaining waterways and fitting ways of dredged sediment management. The silt dredged from the seabed classifies as construction waste, but with careful handling, it can be very effectively used. While planning the coastline arrangements the use of deep-sea dredging can help achieve the maximum utilization of the area.
Keywords:deep-sea dredging, cutter suction dredger, handling of dredged sediment
