Title:VPLIV ZGODNJE OBRAVNAVE IN IZOBRAŽEVANJA NA KAKOVOST ŽIVLJENJA OSEB Z DOWNOVIM SINDROMOM IN NJIHOVIH DRUŽIN

Abstract:V diplomskem delu bomo obravnavali Downov sindrom, predstavili program zgodnje obravnave in Društvo Downov sindrom Slovenija ter problematiko inkluzije in izobraževanja oseb z Downovim sindromom. Downov sindrom je stanje spočetega otroka, ki ga povzroča trisomija enaindvajsetega kromosoma v celicah novorojenčka in se kaže kot upočasnjen telesni in duševni razvoj otroka. Odraža se v raznih telesnih in vedenjskih posebnostih. Duševne zmožnosti ljudi z Downovim sindromom so sicer ovirane, vendar lahko ljudje z Downovim sindromom ob podpori staršev in sistema živijo sorazmerno kakovostno življenje. V raziskovalnem delu naloge je izdelana analiza ankete, ki smo jo izvedli med starši otrok z Downovim sindromom. V raziskavi smo ugotavljali, koliko so otroci z Downovim sindromom vključeni v programe zgodnje obravnave, katere so težave staršev pri izvajanju teh programov in kakšen učinek ima program zgodnje obravnave.

Title:THE INFLUENCE OF EARLY TREATMENT AND EDUCATION ON LIFE QUALITY OF PEOPLE WITH DOWN'S SYNDROME AND THEIR FAMILIES
Abstract:In this thesis we deal with Down's syndrome, we moved the program of early intervention and the Association Down Syndrome Slovenia and the issue of inclusion and education of persons with Down syndrome. Down syndrome is a condition conceived a child caused by trisomy of the twenty-first chromosome in the cells of the newborn and can be seen as delayed physical and mental development of the child. It reflected in various physical and behavioral characteristics. Mental abilities of people with Down syndrome are otherwise handicapped, but people with Down syndrome, with the support of parents and the system live a relatively good quality of life. In the research part of the thesis is an analysis of the survey, which was conducted among parents of children with Down syndrome. The study examines the extent to which children with Down syndrome included in the programs of early intervention, what are the problems of parents in the implementation of these programs and what impact has the program of early intervention.
