Abstract:
Diplomska naloga obravnava vzpostavitev nadzornega sistema v testnem okolju. Obravnavani so trije primeri odprtokodnih nadzornih sistemov: Nagios, Zenoss in Zabbix. Vzpostavljeno je testno okolje s tremi virtualnimi strežniki. Na enem je bil konfiguriran nadzorni sistem Zabbix, na drugih dveh sta nameščena agenta. Preskušen je bil nadzor strojne opreme in izbranih storitev na operacijskih sistemih CentOS 6.7 in MS Windows Server 2012. Virtualizirano okolje lahko služi kot študijski pripomoček ali pa za proučevanja obnašanja informacijske tehnologije v različnih, tudi ekstremnih situacijah. Nadzorni sistem porablja zelo malo sistemih virov.

DEPLOYMENT OF ICT MONITORING SYSTEM
Abstract:
This diploma show implementation of control system in test environment. Three open source control systems are presented: Nagios, Zenoss and Zabbix. Testing environment with three virtual servers is set up. One virtual server hosts Zabbix control system while on other servers only Zabbix agents are installed. Hardware and selected services on CentOS 6.7 and MS Windows Server 2012 operating systems are monitored. Virtualized environment can serve either as study testbed or research tool to examine different even extreme situations. Control system Zabbix consume little system resources.
