Abstract:	Projekt »Oskrba s pitno vodo Pomurja – Sistem A« je regionalni projekt, ki združuje sedem pomurskih občin z namenom zagotavljanja zanesljivejše ter varne vodooskrbe s kakovostno pitno vodo vseh prebivalcev obravnavanih občin. Pri projektu sodelujejo občine Črenšovci, Dobrovnik, Kobilje, Lendava, Turnišče, Odranci in Velika Polana. Ker je bilo prejšnje vodovodno omrežje na tem območju zgrajeno pred 30 ali 40 leti, le-to ni bilo več funkcionalno zaradi svoje dotrajanosti. Poleg tega ni zagotavljalo zadostne preskrbe s požarno vodo v primeru izbruha požara. Velik problem je bila tudi pogosta motena dobava pitne vode, kar pomeni, da so prebivalci obravnavanih občin večkrat ostali brez pitne vode. Zaradi opisane problematike je prišlo do izvedbe projekta »Oskrba s pitno vodo Pomurja – Sistem A«, kjer gre za povsem drugi princip delovanja vodovodnega sistema na obravnavanem območju, kot je bil pred izvedbo projekta. V diplomskem delu so predstavljene splošne značilnosti projekta na različnih nivojih ter analize pred izvedbo projekta in današnje stanje, to je po izvedbi predmetnega projekta.

Title:	Analysis of the project »Drinking Water Supply of the Pomurje region – System A«
Abstract:	The project »Drinking Water Supply of the Pomurje region – System A« is a regional project covering seven Pomurje municipalities, with the aim of ensuring more reliable and secure drinking water supply for the entire population living in this area. The participating municipalities are the following: Črenšovci, Dobrovnik, Kobilje, Lendava, Turnišče, Odranci and Velika Polana. Since the previous water supply network in this region was constructed 30-40 years ago, it was no longer functional due to wear and tear. Furthermore, it no longer provided sufficient supply of fire water in the case of a fire outbreak. Due to the frequently disturbed supply of drinking water these municipalities were in some cases cut off from drinking water, which also caused several problems. All these reasons led to the implementation of the project »Drinking Water Supply of the Pomurje region – System A«, which is based on a principle of water supply functionality and is completly different from that used before the implementation of the new project. The diploma thesis explains the general features of the project at various levels, and presents the analyses carried out before the project's implementation. Finally, it presents the current state, after the project has been implemented.
