Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na spoznavanje dveh različnih tiskarskih tehnik v povezavi z okoljem. Primerjali smo digitalno in ofset tiskarsko tehniko ter razliko med solventnimi in latex digitalnimi tiskalniki. V teoretičnem delu smo povzeli delovanje obeh tiskarskih tehnik in se osredotočili na uporabo materialov in barv v tiskarstvu. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili podjetji Abo grafika d. o. o. in Tisk24 d. o. o. Prvo uporablja za izdelavo tiskovin ofset tiskarske stroje, drugo pa je osredotočeno na izdelavo tiskovin z digitalnimi stroji. Vse potrebne informacije o tiskarskih strojih, barvah, materialih, odpadkih in reciklaži smo pridobili s pomočjo sodelovanja s tiskarnama. V nadaljnjem raziskovanju smo primerjali obe tiskarski tehniki na podlagi izdelave različnih tiskovin in jih primerjali v različnih okoliščinah. Na podlagi analize rezultatov in na osnovi teoretičnih osnov smo prišli do določenih ugotovitev, ki smo jih tudi obrazložili v diplomski nalogi. Poleg primerjave obeh tehnik pa smo se osredotočili tudi na raziskavo solventne in eco latex tehnologije ter ugotovili, katera je bolj prijazna človeku in okolju.

Title:	ECOLOGY ISSUES IN PRINTING INDUSTRY
Abstract:	In the graduation thesis, we have focused on learning about two different printing techniques in connection to the environment. We have compared digital and offset printing technique and the difference between solvent and latex digital printers. In the theoretical part, we have summarized operation of both printing techniques and focused on the use of materials and colours in printing. Further, we have presented the companies Abo grafika d. o. o. and Tisk24 d. o. o. The first one uses offset printers for production of printed materials, and the second one is focused on production of printed materials with digital machines. We have obtained all the necessary information on printing machines, colours, materials, waste, and recycling through cooperation with printing company. In the following research we have compared both printing techniques based on production of different printing materials, and compared them in different circumstances. Based on the analysis of the results and based on the theoretical basis, we have come to certain establishments, which have also been explained in the graduation thesis. In addition to comparison of both techniques, we have also focused on the research of solvent and eco latex technology and established which one is friendlier for human and the environment.
