Abstract:	V pričujočem diplomskem delu je teoretično in empirično predstavljeno upravljanje znanja kot dodana vrednost intelektualnemu kapitalu podjetja Adriatic Slovenica d. d., ki se ukvarja z zavarovalništvom. Namen in cilj je predstaviti vodenje kot splet dejavnosti v Adriaticu Slovenici d. d. in njenih organizacijah, ki vpliva na vrednost intelektualnega kapitala, in predlagati morebitne izboljšave. Raziskovalni del obsega raziskavo na področju plemenitenja razvoja znanja, prepoznave človeškega kapitala, vrednotenja in nagrajevanja intelektualnega kapitala, konkurenčnih prednosti zaradi intelektualnega kapitala, prenosa znanja in pogojih za razvoj znanja. Rezultati raziskave, izvedene v zavarovalnici Adriatic Slovenica d. d. med sodelavci z vodilnimi oz. vodstvenimi kompetencami, so pokazali izjemen pomen vodenja na uspeh in konkurenčnost podjetja, odnose med zaposlenimi ter prenos znanja z dobro medosebno komunikacijo. Ugotovili smo, da je potrebna podrobnejša analiza delodajalca, ki naj bo osredotočena na individualne cilje zaposlenih ter na njihove specifične veščine. Z učinkovitejšim upravljanjem znanja posameznika se bo izboljšal razvoj intelektualnega kapitala družbe, kar bo posredno zvišalo vrednost podjetja.

Title:	Knowledge Managements as an Added Value to the Company's Intellectual Capital
Abstract:	ABSTRACT In the upcoming diploma work the management of knowledge is presented theoretically and empirically as an added value to the companie's (Adriatic Slovenica d.d.) intellectual capital whose primary activity is insurance. The purpose and objective of its thesis is to present management as a combination of different activities, organization, and to seek possible improvements of the company. The empirical component involves: refinements and development of knowledge, recognition of the human capital, evaluating and rewarding of the intellectual capital, competitive advantage of the intellectual capital and the transaction and conditions for the development of knowledge. The results of the research made in the insurance company Adriatic Slovenica d. d. between coworkers with leading competences have shown an incredible influence of leadership on the success and competitiveness of the company, the relationship between employees and the sharing of knowledge with a healthy interpersonal communication. With the gathered information the solution could be found in a thorough analysis by the employer, which should be focused on the individual goals of the employees and their specific skills. With a bigger emphasis on the empowerment of individuals the development of the community’s intellectual power will improve and by that, the company’s value will actually rise.
