Abstract:V uvodnem delu so predstavljeni osnovni pojmi managementa, človeških virov in managementa človeških virov.

Title:Sport activities and their impact on company's business success
Abstract:In the introduction basic concepts of management, human resources, and human resource management are presented. One of the key areas of human resource management is to provide health and safety in the workplace which represent the main theme of this Bachelor’s thesis. Regular physical activity has important and positive impact and reduces illnesses such as cardiovascular diseases, strokes, cancers and diabetes. Physical activity also strengthens your muscles, improves mood and helps with weight management. Physically active and healthy employees have positive effects on company as well. Studies have shown that healthier people are more productive and more satisfied in the workplace. Employees are therefore more loyal to the company and less absent from work which also reduces costs. Furthermore, healthy people bring many benefits to the society such as higher physical capabilities and longer life expectancy. This also affects human development and helps with fewer diseases. Despite all these benefits and the awareness that physical activities have impact on success of the company, there are still not enough employers that take care of employees’ health and invest in workplace health promotion. Not every workplace health promotion program is successful but with the right approach and acquired knowledge it is possible to build a good program that brings success to the company and reduces costs. With the acquired knowledge and the results of several studies a workplace health promotion program was made for a company X. The program contained goals and expected results.
