Abstract:
Spletne strani so v današnji digitalni dobi ena izmed najmočnejših marketinških orodij. Danes ljudje iščejo storitve in izdelke večinoma na spletu. Če podjetje nima spletne strani izgublja potencialne stranke. Spletna stran je pomembna tudi, ker podjetju daje kredibilnost. Z nizkimi cenami spletnega gostovanja in domen, ni razloga zakaj katerokoli podjetje ne bi imelo spletne strani. Spletna stran je ves čas dostopna javnosti, zato lahko stranke kadarkoli dostopajo do podatkov podjetja. Dobra spletna stran privabi tudi veliko podjetij v tujimi, ki si želijo sodelovanja. V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena izdelava spletne strani za transportno podjetje BT Transport prevozi in storitve d. o. o., z uporabo sistema za upravljanje spletnih vsebin (angl. Content management system) WordPress. Cilj izdelave spletne strani je povečanje prepoznavnosti podjetja. Rezultat diplomske naloge je izdelana moderna spletna stran z možnostjo spletnega naročanja prevozov. V prvem delu se predstavi podjetje in opredelitev problema. Sledi predstavitev teoretičnih osnov in predstavitev odprtokodne platforme WordPress. V tretjem delu pa je predstavljen potek izdelave spletnega mesta. Na koncu smo naredili še SWOT analizo spletne strani.

WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT FOR TRANSPORTATION COMPANY
Abstract:
Websites in today’s digital age are one of the most powerful marketing tools. Nowadays, people are searching for services and products mainly online. If a company does not have a website it is losing potential clients. A website is important because it gives credibility to a company. With low costs of web hosting and domain names there is no reason why any company should not have a website. Due to constant accessibility of a website, customers can search for company’s information at all times. A good website attracts many foreign companies searching for cooperation. The diploma thesis describes the process of website design for the transportation company BT Transport d. o. o. using a content management system WordPress. The goal is to increase the visibility and recognition of the company. The result of this thesis is a finished modern website with an online transport ordering option. In the first part of the thesis the company is presented and a problem situation is defined. The presentation of theoretical bases and the presentation of open-source platform WordPress follow. The third part presents the course of website creation. The last part is a SWOT analysis.
