Abstract:Živimo v času, kjer pripisujemo komuniciranju v organizacijah velik pomen.

Title:COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN STUDENT ORGANIZATION - EXAMPLE OF STUDENT CLUB ORMOŽ
Abstract:We live in a time where communication is of great importance in organizations. The development of human civilization is based on centuries of cooperation between people. Cooperation cannot be maintained without the main component of our lives, without communication. By communicating we learn about the world and people which surround us and about ourselves. It is a process of sending, receiving and interpreting symbols and messages that are associated with a specific purpose. One always communicates with a purpose and never without it. Individuals, who always communicate with a purpose, often communicate in a community – as for example non-profit organizations. In non-profit organizations which are based on group ideas, the aim of communication is achieving set goals. The subject of this diploma work is communication in a non-profit organization, specifically in Club of students Ormož, in which we researched the planning and implementation of a communication plan. During our research we found out that communication within an organization such as Club of students Ormož is of utmost importance, particularly when planning and organizing events. We found out that there are various problems with communication itself, due to non-usage of a communication plan. With the diploma work we also wanted to find out if the communication would improve by using a communication plan. This is why we developed a communication plan, which could help the students in Club of students Ormož develop better communication and facilitate the organization of their events. Our research was focused on their annual festival called Ormož’s festival of active clubs.
