Title:RAZLIKE MED SPOLOMA IN USKLAJEVANJE POSLOVNEGA ŽIVLJENJA S PRIVATNIM

Abstract:V diplomskem seminarju smo podrobneje proučevali razlike med spoloma, ki nastajajo v podjetništvu na splošno ter še posebej glede usklajevanja poslovnega življenja s privatnim. Delo diplomskega seminarja smo razdelili na teoretični in empirični del. V prvem delu diplomskega seminarja smo poleg razlik med podjetniki in podjetnicami glede izbranih lastnosti proučevali tudi njihove motive za vstop v podjetništvo, prikazali smo tipične razlike v stilu komuniciranja in stilu vodenja. Na osnovi pregledane literature smo ugotovili, da so razlike med spoloma, ki nastajajo, lahko posledica vzgoje, načina dojemanja spolov ter prenašanje stereotipnih vzorcev na otroka že v prvih letih življenja ter šolanja, ter da zato moški in ženske različno razvijemo svoja prepričanja in mnenja o svojih pravicah ter dolžnostih v kasnejših obdobjih svojega življenja: tako prihaja do razlik na delovnih mestih kot tudi pri usklajevanju poslovnega in privatnega življenja podjetnikov in podjetnic. V veliki meri v našem okolju še vedno velja splošno prepričanje, da so za gospodinjstvo ter za skrb za otroke odgovorne ženske. V drugem delu diplomskega seminarja smo na podlagi opravljenih intervjujev prikazali nekaj primerov razlik med spoloma v podjetništvu oziroma ugotavljali, ali jih intervjuvanci sploh zaznajo ter kako uspešno podjetniki in podjetnice usklajujejo svoje poslovno in privatno življenje. Predpostavljali smo, da zaradi (pre)velikega obsega poslovnih obveznosti ne zmorejo vedno ugodno usklajevati poslovnega življenja s privatnim, kar lahko ima negativne posledice na delovni proces podjetnika, kakor tudi na posameznike v njihovem privatnem življenju. Večino podatkov, ki smo jih pridobili z anketo, smo predstavili grafično. Z intervjuji podjetnic smo pridobili širša mnenja o razlikah med spoloma in motivih za vstop v podjetništvo ter uspešnosti usklajevanja poslovnega življenja s privatnim, med njimi pa ni velikih odstopanj.

Title:GENDER DIFFERENCES IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND BALANCE BETWEEN BUSINESS AND PRIVATE ACTIVITIES
Abstract:In the diploma thesis, we studied the gender differences in entrepreneurship and especillay the balance between entrepreneur's business and private life. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In the first part of diploma thesis we analyzed differences between male and female entrepreneur, we also studied their motives for entering into entrepreneurship, we have also presented typical differences in communication and leadership style. The literature review revealed that the gender differences in entrepreneurship are the result of education, perception of equality and passing stereotypical patterns on children in the early stages of life and education, that is why men and women develop differently their beliefs and opinions about their rights and duties in the later stages of life, therefore there are differences in working as well as in the balance between business and private life. It is generally believed that women are supposed to be responsible for child care and taking care of the household. In the second part of diploma thesis we presented the results based on interviews conducted. We tried to established the percieved gender differences in entrepreneurship and how successful entrepreneurs balance their business and private life. We have assumed that due to overwhelming scope of business duties they cannot always favourably manage their business life with private life, which can have some negative consequences on the working process of enterpreneur, as well as on individuals in their private life. The data obtained is also presented graphically. With the interviews of enterpreneurs we have gained wider views on the differences between the gender and motives for entering enterpreneurship, as well as coordination of business life with private among, which there are no major discrepancies.
