Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili vzroke porabe električne energije pri računalniški opremi. Osredotočili smo se predvsem na računalnik, katerega poraba je odvisna od vgrajenih komponent in načina kako računalnik uporabljamo. Opravili smo meritve porabe električne energije po vnaprej pripravljenih scenarijih uporabe, ki predstavljajo referenčni model uporabe računalnika. Na podlagi izmerjenih podatkov in modela uporabe računalnika smo izdelali simulacijo porabe električne energije računalniške opreme, ki nam omogoča simuliranje porabe pri poljubnih scenarijih uporabe računalniške opreme.

Title:
Power consumption simulation of computer hardware
Abstract:
In this thesis, we presented causes for electricity consumption of computer equipment. We focused mainly on the computer whose power depends on the installed components and the way how the computer is used. We performed power measurements for pre-use scenarios which represent a reference model for computer use. Based on the measured data and model of computer simulation we have produced power consumption simulation of computer hardware, which allows us to simulate the power consumption of computer equipment at the different scenarios.
