Abstract:V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni alternativni načini merjenja frekvence preklopov induktivnih brezkontaktnih stikal, ki predstavlja eno od njihovih funkcijskih karakteristik.

Title:Study of feasibility and adequacy of an alternative method for measuring the switching frequency of the inductive proximity switches
Abstract:This document presents alternative methods for measuring the switching frequency of the inductive proximity switches, which represents one of their functional characteristics. The necessity for an alternative measuring method, for some of the versions, rises out of the limitations of the method presented in the harmonizated European product standard EN 60947-5-2, concerning feasibility and safety. This standard permits that, in cases where the method for the measurement of the switching frequency it presents isn't appropriate, the manufacturer defines his own method. The proposed alternative methods have been studied from the feasibility and the adequacy point of view. The one, estimated as the most appropriate, has been comparatively validated. Presented methods are recognized as technically feasable. The most appropriate method, with the use of a passive oscillator, is recognised to be acceptable for an undemanding implementation in the development and validation process of the inductive sensors. The result obtained with this method matches the result obtained with the standard method surprisingly well. However, due to certain imperfections discovered in the implementation of both methods, we reccomend an additional study of an alternative method and it's fine tuning, before it's final implementation into practise.
