Abstract:Namen diplomske naloge je sestaviti in predstaviti smučarski park za učenje alpskega smučanja otrok.

Title:SKI PARK ALPINE SKIING TRAINING FOR CHILDREN
Abstract:The purpose of this thesis is to set up and present a ski park for teaching children the basics of alpine skiing. Such a park would make teaching easier as it would be made up of accessories, which would facilitate us when teaching children the basic elements of skiing such as stopping in a snow-plough, initial changing of direction as well as basic meandering. The idea arose because Slovenia, despite the popularity of alpine skiing, does not have many parks intended just for teaching skiing but rather only for entertainment. We will look at a few examples of parks from abroad and examine how they work. The thesis consists of two parts. In the theoretical part we will present the history of skiing as well as the national ski school and its elements. In the practical part we will present the ski park. We described and defined alpine skiing, took a look at the equipment and described the Slovenian ski school. We took a quick survey to check the presence of ski parks in Slovenia. We discovered that setting up such a park can be a very difficult task as it needs quite a vast amount of space as well as funds, however, such a park would offer much more entertainment and motivation, which would make learning quicker and variegated. The conceptual design of the park is intended for beginner skiers and those who have already adapted to the equipment and are learning the basic elements of alpine skiing. The advantage of the ski park is increased safety of the trainees and a better overview of the trainees, since the teaching takes place away from other skiers on the ski course. The learning is faster and dynamic and we can incorporate games and accessories in our teaching.
