Abstract:
V diplomskem delu smo se spoznali z operacijskima sistemoma Android ter Windows 10. Glavni del naloge smo namenili opisovanju razvoja mobilnih aplikacij na obeh platformah. Raziskali smo celoten postopek izdelave aplikacije, od izbire razvojnega orodja ter izdelave uporabniškega vmesnika do objave v trgovini z aplikacijami. V praktičnem delu diplomske naloge smo za obe platformi razvili prototipno mobilno aplikacijo, ki uporabnikom omogoča sledenje napredka pri gledanju televizijskih serij. V zaključku diplomskega dela smo primerjali celoten postopek razvoja aplikacije na platformi Android ter Windows 10.

COMPARISON OF MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT ON ANDROID AND WINDOWS 10 PLATFORMS
Abstract:
In this diploma thesis we were dealing with Android and Windows 10 mobile operating systems. In the main part of the thesis we focused on the description of the development process of mobile apps on both platforms. The entire development process has been researched from the choice of development tools and designing user interface to its publication in the app store. In the practical part of the thesis a prototype mobile application was developed that allows users to track progress when watching television series. In the conclusion the development process on the Android and Windows 10 platforms were being compared.
