Abstract:	Z diplomskim delom z naslovom »Motivacija za izobraževanje na Policijski postaji Kočevje«, kjer sem tudi sama zaposlena prikažem, kako motivirani so zaposleni na Policijski postaji Kočevje. V diplomskem delu je na začetku predstavljen pojem »motivacija«, ki je nato tudi podrobno analiziran. Diplomsko delo se v nadaljevanju osredotoči na »motivacijo za izobraževanje«. Predstavljeni so splošen vidik izobraževanja, sam potek izobraževanja v Policiji in program za odrasle za pridobitev srednje strokovne izobrazbe policistov. Predstavljene so tudi vrste motivov, motivacijski dejavniki in motivacija za izobraževanje, organizacija Policijske postaje Kočevje ter na koncu raziskava o motiviranosti zaposlenih, ki je ugotovljena na podlagi anonimne ankete. Na podlagi rezultatov je narejena analiza z ugotovitvami in predlogi. Zanima nas tudi izobraževanje v Policiji, kjer si najprej pogledamo samo zgodovino izobraževanja, kakšno je šolanje in zaposlovanje v Policiji. Sledi podroben pregled programa za pridobitev poklica policist. Z diplomskim delom sem s pomočjo analize obstoječega stanja podala zaključek ter predlagala izboljšave.

Title:	MOTIVATION FOR EDUCATION AT THE POLICE STATION KOČEVJE
Abstract:	Thesis with the title “Motivation for the education at the Police station Kočevje”, shows us how motivated are the employees of the Police station Kočevje, which is also my workplace. In the beginning of the thesis the concept “motivation” is presented, which is then analyzed in details. The thesis than concentrates on “motivation for education”. Presented are the general aspects of education, the course of education in Kočevje police station, program for adults for obtaining secondary vocational education for police officers. It presents the types of motives, motivational factors and motivation for education, the organization of Kočevje police station and finally, a survey on employee motivation, which is ascertained on the basis of an anonymous survey. Based on the results an analysis with findings and proposals was made. We are also interested in education in the Police, where at first we analyze the history of education and look at how the training and the process of employment in the Police looks like. Following is a detailed examination of the program for obtaining a profession of a police officer. In the thesis with the thorough analysis of the existing state, we tried to make a conclusion and propose improvements.
