Title:IMPACT OF ANTI-STRESS TECHNIQUES ON EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION AT TELEKOM SLOVENIJA, D.D.
Abstract:Stress management and its meaning are becoming increasingly important both at the individual level as well as at the level of organization. Stress at work is causing employee burnout, which can consequently affect the success of the entire organization. Stress and motivation of employees are already extensively researched areas and that is why the potential impact of anti-stress techniques is shown in the context of the thesis. To the addition of stress factors and work motivation, effects and consequences of stress are also exposed and a variety of techniques for controlling and managing stress in the workplace as well, both at the individual level as well at the level of organization. The impact of anti-stress techniques is shown in the case of employees in Telekom Slovenia, d.d. Survey results show that employees in Telekom Slovenije are motivated enough and are not subject to bigger amount of stress. Employees pointed out that education in the field of anti-stress techniques is useful, but that kind of education have only short-term effect. The biggest problem lies in the fact that such educations are carried out only once a year. For better effect they should be organized more often or anti-stress techniques should be implemented in the workplace itself.
