Abstract:
Diplomsko nalogo smo osnovali na proučevanju dveh večparametrskih odločitvenih metod. Na podlagi zajetega znanja iz strokovne literature smo raziskali njuno uporabnost ter razloge za in proti uporabi posamezne metode. Predstavili smo pojem odločanja, prikazali kako pomembno vlogo ima v našem življenju. Opredelili smo proces odločanja po korakih in kako oz. s čim si lahko pri tem učinkovito pomagamo. Proučili smo večparametrski odločitveni metodi DEX in PROMETHEE ter prikazali uporabo metod v praksi in sicer na primeru izbora protivirusne zaščite. Zgradili smo odločitveni model, ki nam je pomagal do odločitve. Za to smo uporabili računalniška programa DEXi in Visual PROMETHEE. Na podlagi modela smo metodi med seboj kritično primerjali. V zadnjem delu smo metodi ocenili s SWOT analizo in za konec prikazali še njune pluse in minuse.

COMPARISON BETWEEN DEX AND PROMETHEE MULTICRITERIA DECISION AID METHODS
Abstract:
The thesis was established on the study of two multi-attribute decision making methods. On the basis of knowledge gathered with the scientific literature we investigated usefulness and the reasons for and against the use of each method. We introduced the concept of decision-making and showed the importance of its role in our lives. The decision-making process was presented step by step and explained what to do to get efficient support and help making a decision. We examined the multi-attribute decision methods DEX and PROMETHEE and demonstrated the use of these methods in practice on a case of choosing the most appropriate provider of anti-virus security software. We constructed a decision-making model, which helped us to make the right decision. The computer programs utilized in this study are DEXi and Visual PROMETHEE. Based on the model a critical comparison between two methods has been made. In the last section we evaluated the methods using SWOT analysis and in the end of the thesis showed their pluses and minuses.
