Abstract:	V diplomskem delu je predstavljena pravna ureditev lokalne samouprave, predvsem ureditev na primeru občine Jesenice. Opredelila sem temeljne pojme, se osredotočila na statutarno ureditev (Statut Občine Jesenice) ter organe občine ter opredelitev pristojnosti in odločanje le-teh. Na splošno sem se opredelila na primer občine Jesenice. Občino Jesenice predstavlja in zastopa župan. Namen diplomske naloge bo tudi bolj natančen pregled njegovega vpliva na vodenje občine in organov občine. Predvsem sem prevzela ključne značilnosti ureditve lokalne samouprave na pravni ravni. Namen je bil predstaviti lokalno samoupravo ter preučiti delovanje in pristojnosti njenih organov v skladu s predpisi (osredotočiti se na pravno – statutarno ureditev Občine Jesenice). Opisala sem tudi položaj župana na vodenje Občine Jesenice ter njegove pristojnosti. S svojo raziskavo želim doseči globje pravno poznavanje (na ravni občine kot lokalne samouprave).

Title:	LEGAL STATUTORY REGULATIONS OF LOCAL GOVERMENT AND MAYOR'S DIRECT INFLUENCE ON ITS MANGEMENT, FOR EXAMPLE: THE MUNICIPALITY OF JESENICE
Abstract:	The thesis presents the legal regulation of local self – government, in particular arrangements in the event of Jesenice. I define the basic concepts and focused on its statutory regime ( Statute of the municipality of Jesenice) and the authorities of the municipality and the definition of responsibilities and decision – making only – these. In general, I have identified, for example, the municipality of Jesenice. Municipality Jesenice are represented by the mayor. The aim of the thesis will also be more accurate view of its impact on the management of municipalities and municipal bodies. I am particularly over the key characteristics of the system of local self – government on a legal level. The purpose was to introduce local self – government and examine the functioning and powers of its organs in accordance with the regulations (focuse on the legal – statutory regulation of the municipality of Jesenice). I described the position of mayor in the management of the Municipality of Jesenice and its powers. With its research I want to achieve a deeper understanding of the rule (at the level of municipalities as local self – government).
