Abstract:	V diplomskem delu predstavljamo preureditev procesa montaže oken z investicijo v dvigala v podjetju Jelovica okna d.o.o. Glavni problem so dolgi, slabi in nevarni transportni tokovi in težka velika stekla, ki jih je treba prenašati in vstavljati v izdelke, ter prelaganje izdelkov iz montažne linije na palete. V diplomskem delu prikazujemo novo preureditev procesa in investicijo v dvigala za vstavljanje težkih stekel v okna in prelaganje težkih izdelkov. Nova preureditev predvideva obračanje smeri montažne linije v nasprotno stran in preboj ter vgradnjo novih vrat za prehod v skladišče gotovih izdelkov. Ob obračanju smeri linije smo predvideli in vključili novo mostno dvigalo in nov steber s konzolo in manipulatorjema. Predvidena nova preureditev prinaša izredno skrajšanje transportne poti za prevoz gotovih izdelkov iz proizvodnje v skladišče. Krajša in optimalna transportna pot bi nam prinesla prihranek pri času in zmanjšala možnost transportnih poškodb izdelkov in materialov. Z investicijo v novo mostno dvigalo, nov steber s konzolo in manipulatorjema pa bi bistveno izboljšali varnost ljudi pri vstavljanju stekel in prelaganju težkih izdelkov, ter izboljšali ergonomske pogoje za delavce.

Title:	REARANGEMENT OF THE WINDOW ASSEMBLY PROCESS
Abstract:	The subject of this thesis is a suggestion for a rearrangement of the process of window assembly by investing into overhead cranes in Jelovica Okna Ltd. The main challenges are long, problematic and dangerous transport routes and big and heavy window panes which need to be handled and installed into products, as well as the transfer of products from the assembly line to pallets. In this thesis I suggest a rearrangement of the process and investment into an overhead crane for installing heavy window panes and transferring heavy products. The rearrangement suggests reversing the direction of the assembly line into the opposite direction, demolishing part of the wall and installation of a new door to the finished products warehouse. Besides reversing the direction of the assembly line, a new overhead crane and a new mast, boom and manipulators are also suggested. The suggested rearrangement would make the transport route for finished products to the warehouse considerably shorter. The shorter and optimised transport route would save time and lower the likelihood of transport damage to products and materials. By investing into a new overhead crane, a new mast and boom with two manipulators, we would significantly improve the safety of the workers installing the panes and transferring heavy products as well as improve working conditions.
