Abstract:POVZETEK Otroci so temeljni in hkrati najranljivejši člen naše družbe.

Title:OVER-PARENTING AND CHILD'S RIGHTS TO LEISURE
Abstract:ABSTRACT Children are the core and at the same time the most vulnerable part of our society. Because of this vulnerability and to ensure respect for their rights is particularly sensitive and important area. For about a century, children have the status of an entity not only the object of rights. Declaration from 1959 and later the Convention on the Rights of the Child from 1989, have encouraged significant changes in the legal protection and of the children in the traditional understanding of childhood. Among other things, an understanding of free time for children and rights to play. Article 31. of the Convention on the Rights of the Child stipulates that children have the right to rest to have free time and to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the child's age. In the child's free time familiy also have an important role. Today's world and trends puts increasingly challenging task on the family and future parents that their child should be the most successful while most parents their ambitions often converts into the child's wishes for the sake of their future. The time that should be spared in child's play and free time parents want to substitute them with high-quality various activities, and this often leads to additional obligations for their children instead of relief and free time to play. One of the main negative effects of intensive parenting during childhood is also the limitation of the child's free time. Measures to relieve intense parenting is in the child play in which child connects with the world, gaining experience and strengthen their imagination.
