Abstract:V diplomskem projektu Primerjava programov za analiziranje velikih podatkov pri odločanju za potrošniški kredit v banki X, smo želeli raziskati področje analiziranja statističnih podatkov velikih količin.

Title:COMPARISON OF PROGRAMS FOR ANALYZING BIG DATA IN DECISION MAKING FOR CONSUMER CREDIT IN THE BANK X
Abstract:In the diploma thesis project Comparison of Programs for Analysing Big Data in Decision Making for Consumer Credit in the Bank X, we wanted to research the field of statistical analysing of big data. We chose two tools for comparison – Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS. We knew that the tool Microsoft Excel is known for its spreadsheet functionalities, use of functions, creating graphs, and pivot tables, amongst his many users. However, only few knows it for its functionalities regarding the statistical data processing. In this diploma thesis, we did a quick overview of the tool's basic functionalities, however, we took closer look at the tool’s statistical functionalities. The second tool we selected for comparison was IBM SPSS. This tool is mostly known for statistical analysing in social sciences. The tool has many functions that are needed for successful analysis. In this diploma thesis, we firstly described the tool's basic functionalities. After that we also took a closer look at tool's statistical functionalities, and we compared both tools. In both tools, we analysed the real-life data of credit borrowers in the bank X. The bank X gave us the data from their database and then we edited those data in more meaningful way. After that, we imported data in both tools and started with the analysis. In the diploma thesis, we predicted three hypotheses, regarding the users’ experience, functionalities in both tools, and final results of analysis.
